You pay dues to be a member of ESEA, PSEA, and NEA. What benefits do these

PROTECTING YOUR ECONOMIC FUTURE AND SECURITY 

Your salary and benefits - PSEA-NEA provides your local with research and guidance in planning and carrying out your bargaining. Contact your local association or your PSEA-NEA UniServ representative. 

Retirement - PSEA-NEA staff lobby for retirement benefits for members through the state legislature and Congress, and monitor actions of the Pennsylvania Public School Employees Retirement System. Your PSEA-NEA UniServ representative is your first contact for concerns about your retirement benefits.

PROTECTING YOUR RIGHTS 

Your employment rights - Our professional staff and attorneys work with your local association to ensure that your rights under your contract, state and federal laws are protected. Your access to this service is through your local association and your PSEA-NEA UniServ representative. 

Your professional rights - We provide members with professional advocacy before the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Professional Standards and Practices Commission. Your access to this service is first through your PSEA-NEA UniServ representative. You can also find information on professional issues on PSEA Interactive at , or call Education Services at 1-800-944-PSEA (7732). 

Your personal legal rights - We provide you with reduced-cost personal legal services through a statewide network of attorneys. Your access to this service is through your PSEA region office.
